What Else?
The most colorful and major festival
in India is a week-long celebration called
the Pushkar Mela. People trade camels
and other livestock, enjoy camel safaris,
and organize animal races. Evenings are
dedicated to folk dancing, feasting,
horoscope reading, and more.
This 22-day artistically tailored journey
takes us to the Pushkar Mela and to rural
Rajasthan, where we stay in world renowned,
palace-like desert dwellings. Rajasthan
is the land of colorfully dressed and
very friendly people. Another highlight
of our journey is watching the full moon
at the Taj Mahal, the building that best
expresses the epoch of love.
